Technology

Our program team is currently assessing our technology options to host a dynamic, interactive, and fun online Landmarks workshop. We are fully committed to delivering an engaging place-based curriculum even though we’ll all be logging in remotely.

We will share details as we make decisions. As of December 2020, we are planning to use Zoom Webinars for videoconferencing and Canvas for our learning management system. Participants will not need to purchase a license or software to use any of the services we will be using.

Participants will be required to have a computer equipped with a high speed internet connection, webcamera, and microphone. We anticipate that participants will be working together in synchronous learning activities from 1pm – 5pm Eastern Monday – Friday during their workshop session. Asynchronous learning activities will be completed prior to the day’s synchronous session; participants should plan on spending 4 hours on asynchronous activities daily.
