Join VAS for a 2 hour ‘crepuscular’ tour to discover and explore the abandoned 19th Century settlement ruins at Little River State Park in Waterbury. Begin your rugged excursion with an overview of the Little River Settlement before we lead you deep into the park woods by flashlight. Tour abandoned farms, forgotten cemeteries, sawmill remains and cellar holes. Observe the rusted artifacts left scattered on the landscape among the mushrooms and ferns. Hear fascinating tales of eerie hauntings, murders and mysteries about the pioneers that once lived in this Vermont ghost town.

Pre-registration is required. This registration page will close at 1pm on Sunday, Oct 16.

Must bring flashlights, water and sturdy walking or hiking shoes. Rough terrain is to be expected on this intermediate-level hike.

Tour is suitable for kids 10 and up.
Space is limited.
