Beginning June 28

The Vermont Archaeology Society will be conducting large-scaled block excavation at precontact Native American site VT-CH-1002 in June, July and August of this year, and WE NEED YOUR HELP! The VAS has recently been awarded funding from the Gamelin Separate Environmental Project (SEP) to excavate the site located in Colchester, Chittenden County, Vermont. We will need volunteers for both field excavation and laboratory work.
